This book wasn’t what I expected. I somehow thought Jeff would come to love submission, but boy, was I wrong. This story is different, but a good different. The whole concept of Domestic Discipline isn’t mine, but I understood why it worked so well in this story.
Jeff is someone who get’s another chance, when he’s given up all hope, but there are times when he stumbles and falls. There are times when the demons win, when he can’t go on.
Damian keeps his cool (at least on the outside) and he helps Jeff come to understand that he is a good man. He helps him to love himself again and understands in the process what kind of Dom he is (or isn’t)
