It’s not cool that people go out of their way to slice a author down but readers can choose the review they read even if an authors book page is riddled with a bunch of low rated reviews. Readers have their own mind and can make their own decisions. Can a review influence a potential buyer? Yes and no. A lot of times people will pick up a book to see what the big fuss was (I know I do).
